Role
The principal role of the executive committee is to:
- Develop the research RFP and participate in the selection
of the proposals
- Coordinate the at-sea monitoring program with the research
program
- Prepare and disseminate interim and final reports
- Assist in the outreach program
- Develop a long term funding plan
- Communicate with congressional partners
